New Services, New Partners & a Puberty Webinar

New Services, New PartnersWe hope you are taking advantage of this lovely Spring weather by getting outside to feed your souls and bodies! We would like to let you know about a couple of exciting things at GetzWell:

1) Neurofeedback & More – Addressing Stress-Related and Chronic Conditions

As part of our StressWell offering, we are now offering neurofeedback therapy for children ages 6 and up. Neurofeedback is a painless, non-invasive method that enhances mind-body awareness and reduces the impacts of stress. Neurofeedback has been shown to be helpful for a wide array of conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, impulse control, and chronic pain and fatigue. If your child is dealing with chronic conditions that may be stress-related and you are wondering if neurofeedback might be a good fit for your child, please call us to schedule an intake with Dr. Rachel Gilgoff.

2) New Partner & Webinar – Reframing Puberty with Girl Power Science

Girl Power Science empowers kids (and not just those who identify as girls) to navigate puberty with confidence. They offer workshops and camps for both kids and parents, and GetzWell members can use code GETZWELL to get $25 off any workshop or camp.

GetzWell members are also invited to a free, empowering webinar about modern puberty, on May 16 at 6 PM. See below for the description and use this link to register:

Join Girl Power Science Founder, Konika Ray Wong M.Ed. for a new narrative about modern puberty that empowers kids to proudly celebrate growth with confidence. It makes all the difference in the world when we approach this eventful life stage with a positive mindset. Intentional planning as parents can open the door to deepen trust and honest communication at this pivotal time of transformation.

Konika has over two decades of experience. You will learn about the stages and timing of modern puberty for all genders, what to expect, and a framework of language that puts a positive spin on the changes that healthy, growing bodies experience. This 45 minute workshop for parents will take place on zoom. Participants will receive a “Puberty Power” packet including a wide array of supportive resources.
