ABOUT GETZWELL

GetzWell is a small, highly personalized pediatric practice built around a simple idea: children and families deserve time, attention, and thoughtful care.

Since 2008, we have combined excellent conventional pediatrics with functional and integrative approaches to focus on the whole child—not just the presenting symptom. Our providers take the time to listen, understand each child’s unique story, partner closely with parents, and develop thoughtful, individualized care plans.

We are intentionally different from a high-volume pediatric practice. Our providers see a limited number of patients each day and have the time to practice medicine thoughtfully and build meaningful, long-term relationships with families.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team 2+ days per week.

You will provide primary pediatric care including well-child visits, preventive care, acute visits, and ongoing management of pediatric health concerns. Depending on your interests and experience, there may also be opportunities to learn and provide functional/integrative medicine consultations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with at least 5 years of primary care experience

• Current California NP license and appropriate certification

• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills

• Warm and thoughtful, genuine enjoyment working with children and families

• Excellent listener who takes the time to understand the whole picture

• Curious and intellectually engaged, while grounded in good clinical judgment and evidence

• Enjoy partnering with parents rather than simply directing care

• Comfortable working in a small, collaborative practice

• Experience in functional and/or integrative medicine is a plus, but a strong interest or curiosity is mandatory

• Interest in nutrition, prevention, lifestyle medicine and whole-child health
